'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane dampens on Premier League return

Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his interest in returning to the Premier League has diminished and he is open to explore a new agreement with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is presently two years through the four-year agreement he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the offseason of 2023.

The experienced forward has accumulated an remarkable 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German club, helping them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which marked the maiden major honor of his notable career.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would like to see Kane go back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as enthusiastic about returning home as he previously was, and would certainly contemplate prolonging his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that," he remarked.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so progresses and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have learned in my career is that different chances and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top scorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the fastest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had escaped him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would react after overcoming his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
